Look at that! Hilarious right! Haha! Reminds me of the time when Ron Weasley tried to send a letter to Harry Potter and he stuck stamps all over the envelope. Anyway, that was a letter addressed to my maid. And it has 12 stamps, each costing 2,500 Rupiah. That means that the postage fee cost about S$6! You can buy a meal with that! Not sure why though, maybe because her relative wrote a lot of pages and because it's overseas. But anyway, there's something very sentimental about writing letters that is now lost as everyone becomes more high techzxzx now and use email. I remember how I used to write letters and decorate the envelope in a very ugly child-like design and write the address in a what-i-used-to-think-was-nice-and-fancy-way. And then I'd add, "P.S. Thank you Mr Postman! =)" at the bottom of the envelope. Haha. And now, no one's hobby is collecting stamps! I remember how my hobby in primary school was collecting phonecards, and I used to exchange some with my friend in P3. But NOW! That's gone too! I think now it's more of people collecting SIM cards. :\ Everyone used to love collecting stamps, phonecards, coins, postcards and other oddments. I think I still have my phonecard album :) It'd probably fetch a good price. Okay, not yet. But probably in 2040 or something, if I'm still alive! And I still have my CHIJ primary postcards (came across them while packing my old house, and oh joy, was I so happy when I saw them! I totally forgot about them!) and my CHIJ Secondary postcard + stamp + steeple chop. :) Gonna keep them until I grow old and die. Yay! :)
